Fife - Day 1

We packed up the campervan and left the house in early afternoon, going to visit mum at Bankview Care Home on the way. So we didn't really start heading for Fife until about 4.

We went to the car park at Ruby Bay in Elie. This is set up by Fife Coast and Countryside Trust to allow overnight parking for up to 7 campervans for a £10 fee, and has toilets and a chemical toilet disposal facility.

We actually got the last of the 7 spaces, so it obviously gets busy sometimes.

We met a friend, Stewart and his wife Janice, who were staying at a timeshare at Kilconquhar Castle, so we went for a pint at the Ship Inn.

After this we went back to the van and made our dinner, Red Thai Prawn Curry.
