The site entrance had a height barrier which is locked at night. We wanted to leave about 8.30am and assumed, wrongly, that it would have been opened well before then.
It actually took us quite a while to get hold of the site owner to let us out, so it was a bit of an annoying start.
For the final leg of our journey home there were a few holdups on the M6 and it rained most of the way, but after one stop at a service station we got home safely about 3pm.
