We all packed up and left the cottage this morning, and we said goodbye to our friends.
We'd decided to avoid the worst of the Easter traffic and stay in Cornwall for another day. We drove to Newquay and first went to Fistral beach for a walk.
We then went to our site, the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Tregurrian. This turned out to be a few miles out of Newquay up the coast. It was quiet as the grass pitches were too wet so only the hard standing pitches were open.
Later we walked to Watergate Bay, where the tide was out and we could let Oscar off lead for a good run about.
For dinner in the evening we had beef chilli with rice, which we'd brought with us.
