We went for a seal-watching boat trip today. We drove to the National Trust car park at Morston Quay and parked. We were a bit early so went for a short stroll. It was quite hot.
We then joined our boat, the Ptarmigan, and set off. Oscar was pretty well behaved for his first time sailing.
Out at Blakeney Point there were about 40 seals, a mixture of Grey Seals and Common Seals.
We went to Tesco for provisions then too the van back to the site. Later we went for a walk straight from the site, first going to the top of Beacon Hill, the highest point in Norfolk at an impressive 105 meters!
We then carried on a circular walk through woods and paths to a viewpoint.
Then we headed down to the coast to that hill we could see in the distance, called Beeston Bump.
From there we walked along the coast to West Runton, then went for a drink at the Village Inn.
Back at the site that evening we had a barbecue, with burgers and sausages.
