Mull - Day 2

We went for a circular walk around Lochbuie, first along the beach, passing Moy Castle and going as far as an old restored church.

From there we headed inland, with a detour to an ancient circle of standing stones.

After lunch back at the van we drove on to our next site, at the end of the Ross of Mull peninsula. This took a lot longer than we expected - Mull is big! The site is Fidden Farm, which is right on the coast overlooking Iona.

We went for a walk from the site, first along the road to the south, then a walk across the sand to the tidal island of Erraid.

There are good views across to Iona, and back to the campsite.

We walked to the highest point, passing a white lookout tower on the way.

After walking back to the campervan we had tuna, pesto, spinach and new potatoes for dinner.
