We left the house at 7am and walked to Curriehill station, for the 7.13 train to Glasgow Central. Once there we walked to Waterloo Place to get the airport shuttle bus to Glasgow Airport.
Once through security we sat in Wetherspoons for a coffee, then we had a pint just before the flight was called about 10.30.
The Easyjet flight was uneventful, and we landed a little early, about 15.10.
We picked up our car from Malagacar, a white Skoda Fabia, which turned out to be a very nice car to drive.
We drove north to our first night's accommodation, the Refugio Del Alamut just outside the village of Valle De Abdalajís. We stopped at a supermarket for some provisions first.
After checking in we had a walk round the grounds of the refuge.
It was overcast and not very warm but we still sat outside with a beer.
Then we walked into the village, and had tapas and some beers at a little tapas bar. Back at the refuge we had a glass of wine in the bar then went to bed.
