Andalucia Day 4 - Grazalema and Zahara

After breakfast we drove north to the village of Grazalema and parked at the top of village. From there we walked up a path to the pass called Puerto del Boyar, which had great views.

We then walked up the hill to a plateau, then down through a "path closed" sign - Scott thought he knew better! We got to the bottom of a steep slope before a goatherd appeared and chased us back up the hill. He wasn't really being unfriendly but he was herding his goats up past us. We had no option but to go back up the steep slope, quickly, in the hot sun. Shirley not best pleased.

We made our way back to Grazalema via a circular route.

We then drove to Zahara, where we had a walk to a viewpoint over the reservoir.

After a drink at a bar, we drove back to the apartment, stopping at a supermarket in Cortes on the way. Then home for dinner - pasta, ham and cheese.
