Andalucia Day 1 - Malaga

We were flying from Glasgow airport at 5pm so we left the house about 1 to drive to Direct Parking near Paisley. No problems with traffic so after picking up the coach to the airport we were pretty early.

We dropped off the suitcase to Easyjet and went into the Wetherspoons bar for a drink. We got chatting to a Scottish sheep farmer who claimed to own a house in Puerto Banus next to Noel Gallacher, and who was going to Barcelona for a wedding!

The plane took off on time and was uneventful, and we arrived at Malaga airport a bit early at 8.45pm Spanish time.

After picking up our bag we walked to the airport train station and caught the C1 train to the Centro Alameda station. From there it was a few minutes walk to the Ibis hotel we were staying at.

We quickly checked in and went out for a walk in the city. We had a drink at a bar then some tapas for dinner at Los Gatos, which was manically busy and great for people-watching.

We then walked back through the town, which was still very warm, and off to bed.
