Andalucia Day 3 - Estepona and La Canada del Real Tesoro

Today we got up early to go and see the market before leaving Malaga. After this we went for breakfast at a local cafe.

We then went back to the hotel, packed and checked out. We walked to the station to get the C1 train to the airport. Once we got there we walked to the Malagacar car hire office and picked up the car we'd booked, a white Kia Cee'd. We then hit the road along the coast, avoiding the toll roads and staying near the sea.

We stopped at Estepona where we had a walk along the beach.

We then walked back through the town and stopped at a bar for lunch. After getting back to the car we drove to Lidl for supplies, then drove inland towards the mountains, stopping at a viewpoint on the way.

In late afternoon we got to our apartment at La Finca de Rana Verde in the village of La Canada del Real Tesoro (also known as Estacion de Cortes de la Frontera). It's run by Irish/French couple Breda and Thierry, with their dog Pepper.

After settling in we went for a walk recommended by Thierry, a circular way to the village walking down by the river.

We had a drink at the village and then went home for dinner. We had fresh bread in the apartment so simply had bread, butter, cheese and Iberico ham.

We watched some television and had an early night.
