South Coast Trip day 17 - Blackpool

To break up the journey north we decided to spend a night at Blackpool. So after breakfast we packed up and headed off. We arrive at the pleasure beach in warm sunshine and had a walk on the seafront and an ice cream.

We drove a bit nearer the centre of town and had a walk round the tower area and a pint at the Layton Rakes.

We then went to the site, Laithes Lodge and set up. We wanted to go into town for cod and chips and to see the illuminations, so we decided to drive back in. Had a nice dinner.
