France - Day 10

We drove up the Tinée Valley again, turning off to go up a single track road to the hamlet of Roya. We parked just outside the church there.

The first part of the walk was through forest then out into the open of the Barres de Roya.

From there we walked at a high level round to the other side of Cime Nègre to where we could see Montagne de l'Alp.

We then walked all the way down to the river gorge, then back to Roya. We saw some marmots on the way.

After driving back to the apartment, we later made ourselves burger, chips and french baked beans for dinner.
