Lake District and North England - Day 3

We walked from the site again this morning, first up Side Pike. There were good views across Great Langdale.

We walked along the ridge to Lingmoor Fell.

Coming down we went through old slate quarry workings.

We went back along the bottom of the valley.

Instead of finishing there we decided to go up the steep path on the other side of the valley to Stickle Tarn.

At the top we circled the tarn. There were some rock climbers up on the crags.

We were pretty tired by then so we went down and stopped for a pint at the Old Dungeon Ghyll again. Later for dinner at the campervan we had chicken curry.
