Summer Trip - Day 1 - Fiskerton

We left the house about 1pm and drove south. We had planned to stay overnight at a wild camping spot just outside Newark, but when we got there we found a "no unauthorised vehicles" sign, so we gave it a miss.

We found another car park on the bank of the Trent at the village of Fiskerton, which made a great overnight spot.

We made dinner of chilli we'd brought with us, and ate it at a picnic table on the bank of the river.

Later we walked along to the local pub for a drink.
