We drove as far as Toquay, where we had a walk around the town.
After a pint at the Apple and Parrot we carried on to the site at Higher Seaward Farm in South Devon. On the last stretch the roads were extremely narrow. We arrived about 5.
We spoke to the owner and he said he was just finishing the process of building the shower and toilet block, and at the moment it didn't have a roof but worked OK!
We made dinner of chilli and rice, then walked to the local pub, the Old Inn at Halwell. It was a bit further than we thought and when we tried to take a shortcut home we ended up walking through fields.
