France Trip - Day 7

We phoned ahead and checked that the campsite we had in mind had spaces, and it didn't seem to be a problem. So after stopping at a supermarket for provisions we got to the town of Le Pouliguen and went to a municipal campsite called Le Clein.

We had to wait until reception opened at 2. They gave us a choice of about 4 pitches, and we walked round to find the one that had most shade, as the forecast for the next 2 or 3 days is for 41 degrees! We got a good one under a plane tree. We booked in for 3 nights at about £18.30 per night including electricity.

Later we walked into town via a tree-shaded park. There's a busy port just next to the centre.

We walked down the side of the port to the beach.

It was pretty hot so we strolled home.

For dinner we had blue cheese and walnut salad.
