Great Glen Trip - Day 2

In the morning there was frost on the van, it had been a cold night.

We drove into Fort William, stopping to take photos of Ben Nevis on the way.

We got a full Scottish breakfast at Wetherspoons then went for a short walk at the loch side.

We then drove to the head of Glen Nevis, and walked to Steall Falls

We didn't try going over the rope bridge!

We then drove back down the glen and to Neptune's Staircase, where we went for a short walk along the Caledonian Canal.

We phoned and booked in to a camp site at Foyers, on the southern (quieter) side of Loch Ness. We drove to Fort Augustus and had a walk at the locks there, it was raining a bit.

We then drove to the site at Foyers, checked in and hooked up. We had chilli for dinner, and saw the Northern lights later.
