We left home about 10 and headed south, stopping at Westmorland Tebay service station on M6 for lunch and a short walk.
We arrived at the site in Tower Farm in Llangollen about 4. We set up the campervan and put the awning up - the ground was pretty hard and we were glad we had brought the rock pegs.
We walked into town
along the canal, about 15 minutes away and had a pint in the Ponsonby Arms. After this we walked into the main shopping streets, checking out
restaurants for the following evening. After another pint in the Wynnstay Arms we walked back to the campervan
We had
chilli and rice for dinner and stayed in.
